Routine is essential for practical results in metaphysics. The first practical results of metaphysics are improved health. Keeping to a regular body cleansing routine maintains the proper inner and outer environment. Since each person may start their inward quest from a different toxic condition, and continually encounter unique toxic conditions in daily life, each person’s routine may require somewhat different features. After studying various cleansing methods, and determining what your needs are, establish your routine. Make the routine realistic so you can adhere to it with few interruptions while remaining flexible to handle unavoidable distractions. Metaphysics is about how mind interacts with physical matter. The physical matter of most importance is the body. After beginning a cleansing program for the body, we are ready for a cleansing and tuning program for the feelings. Meditation is the tool for cleansing and tuning the feelings. The combined practice of meditation and positive routine is yoga; therefore, properly applied metaphysics is yoga. Once the feelings and body are tuned, we are prepared to extend the reach of our worldly interactions beyond ordinay experience. However, attempting to cut corners will result in disappointment. Do not dwell on “advanced” practices until ready for them. The desire to have skills other than what we actually possess leads to useless fantasies and self-delusions. It is important to take the systematic approach to metaphysics. Only by advancing in a logical sequence of steps, can we eliminate obstacles, and build and attain skills that are more advanced. |
